The Climb for Leaders has three goals:

1. To raise $1 million annually to provide educational and community support to children in Kenya and Tanzania; Ecuador and Peru; and Nepal and Tibet so that they may become leaders and break their endemic cycle of poverty. All funds will be directed to registered charities with a very successful track record of implementing school projects and community sustaining initiatives.
2. To allow the participants to understand first-hand the challenges of development in Africa, South America and Asia, and how they can make a difference, through talks, group sessions, etc. by participants before and after their trip.
3. To enhance the leadership qualities of participants, arming them with an enormous sense of accomplishment that they will cherish for the rest of their lives.
